Kristen is a finance leader who has spent the past decade helping startups, real estate ventures, and growth-stage companies navigate complex financial decisions. After graduating magna cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Political Science, she built a career in asset management and strategic finance, playing a key role in the launch and growth of the AutoCamp and Field Station hospitality brands. She is now pursuing her MBA at UCLA Anderson and founded Buoy to give startups the clarity and confidence of seasoned financial leadership without the burden of building large teams too early. Her passion is turning messy numbers into actionable insights, freeing entrepreneurs to focus on vision and growth.
